More Than a Dance Class
Pazaz Christian Dance Academy has been part of the Greensburg community since 2003 and has grown to more than 140 students. The academy focuses on both technical and spiritual dance training, with experienced instructors working to develop strong, healthy dancers while creating an encouraging environment rooted in Christian faith.
Each class begins with prayer, and Pazaz uses modest costuming and conservative music. Rather than focusing on competitions, dancers are given opportunities to perform and showcase what they've learned.
For families specifically searching for a Christian dance program, that's a pretty unique option to have right here in Westmoreland County.
There's a Class for Almost Everyone
Programs begin with the Preschool Division for ages 3–5 and continue through Primary, Student and Pre-Professional divisions. There are also recreational/open classes for ages 5 through adult and a dedicated Homeschool Division for ages 5–18.
Depending on age and program, offerings include ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, tumbling and more. There are options for kids who simply want to enjoy dance recreationally as well as students interested in serious pre-professional training.
Families can explore the current class divisions and schedules directly through Pazaz's class page.

From First Steps to the Professional Stage
Pazaz isn't only a place for beginners.
The academy's curriculum focuses on proper technique that can prepare dancers who want to continue into college or professional dance.
Pazaz is also the official school of Keystone Contemporary Ballet, a professional company founded in 2021 under Artistic Director and Pazaz founder Toni Bazala.
That means families can find everything from a preschooler's first dance class to serious training for dancers dreaming about what might come next.

And Yes, They Get to Perform!
Rather than participating in competitions, Pazaz focuses on performance opportunities. The academy holds annual productions where dancers have a chance to take what they've learned in the studio and bring it to the stage.
And there's something pretty special about finally getting to see all those hours of practice come together under the stage lights!
